In Beijing, diplomacy did not begin with protocol; it began with a feeling of coming home.
During the IPC’s recent mission, the delegation led by Executive Director Mrs. Marina Novira Anggraini visited the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia. There, a warm reunion unfolded with H.E. Djauhari Oratmangun @djauharioratmangun, Ambassador of Indonesia to the People’s Republic of China, someone who had witnessed her journey during more than four years of service as Trade Attaché.

What started as a simple courtesy call became a heartfelt conversation on how soft diplomacy, when carried with sincerity and respect, can open pathways that formal mechanisms alone cannot. The dialogue touched on new pepper origins, future collaboration with China, and the Embassy’s vital role as a bridge that connects, protects, and propels the IPC’s mission forward.

The IPC team also revisited Window of Indonesia, a space built through the collaboration of the Embassy and Indonesia’s Ministry of Trade during Mrs. Marina’s tenure. Standing there again felt like touching an old chapter that still breathes, a reminder that when vision is grounded in service and trust, its impact outlives the moment it was created.

IPC expresses its deepest appreciation to H.E. Ambassador Djauhari Oratmangun and the entire Embassy team @kbribeijing for their unwavering support and thoughtful facilitation throughout the mission. Some connections do not simply assist our work; they strengthen our purpose.
