Nowadays, it is one of the most traded spices in the world and being cultivated in several hot and humid tropical countries like India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Viet Nam, Brazil, Cambodia and other.
Pests and diseases are quite extensive in hot and humid countries and pepper cultivation is not an exception. Facing a great challenge, pepper yield and quality are grossly affected and inline affected the livelihood of the pepper farmers. Responding to this challenge, pepper researchers around the world have been working hard to develop a field-tested product and technology which would able to support farmers in their cultivation of peppers and ensure the sustainability of the pepper sector.
