In the evolving landscape of global trade, progress begins where collaboration takes root. On 6 November 2025, during the China Spices Conference 2025 in Chongqing, the International Pepper Community (IPC) and the China Spices Association (CSA) turned dialogue into action through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU lays the foundation for strategic cooperation in market promotion, capacity building, and business-to-business exchanges between Chinaโs dynamic spice industry and IPC member countries. Signed by Mrs. Marina Novira Anggraini, Executive Director of the IPC, and Mrs. Li Yi, Secretary General of the CSA, this partnership represents a significant step toward linking policy, industry, and trade promotion in the global spice economy.
The ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Xu Xiaohu, Vice President of the China Chamber of Commerce of Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By-Products (CFNA), and Mr. Mike Liu, President of the CSA. This milestone reflects a shared vision to bring China closer to the worldโs leading pepper-producing nations through mutual understanding and collaboration.
In partnership, IPC and CSA aim to transform cooperation into action, building bridges that unite governments, industries, and markets toward a more connected and resilient spice future.
