Mr. Jan Gilhuis

He is a result oriented senior sustainability convener and coalition builder, and manager of impact oriented support program in collaboration with private sector, in public private partnerships and multi-stakeholder settings. He has many years of experience in working in different roles within international development programs.

His current areas of expertise are in developing sustainability in supply chains, integrating ESG into sector governance and business practices, with a focus on sustainable production at farm level, due diligence in supply chains, addressing child labor risks, creating better income for smallholders, and addressing climate change challenge.

His international background and experience in Africa, Asia and Latin America has given me understanding and inroads to different contexts and challenges. He truly enjoy the collaboration with peers in these different regions.

He is passionates about the mission to creating impact for a more sustainable world and He believes that all actors in our economy are influential, have a responsibility but also a business case to work towards creating impact and shared value.
