The Malaysian Government has kindly organized a special welcoming programme for delegates attending the meeting. On Tuesday, 30 October 2007, a formal Opening Ceremony will be graced by the Honourable Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui, Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities. Delegates are recommended to wear lounge suit/national costume for this event.

In the evening on Tuesday, 30 October 2007, the Honorable Minister will host a formal welcoming dinner and a cultural entertainment. Delegates and their partners are recommended to wear smart casual /batik/ national costume for the dinner.

On Thursday, 1 November 2007, the Malaysian government has kindly organized a full day excursion for delegates and their partners to the historic city of Malacca (three hours drive from Kuala Lumpur).
