DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE

The world today is facing one of its greatest challenges in the form of Coronavirus pandemic which has affected over 200 countries and claimed more than 100,000 lives in just a span of less than 6 months. In this unprecedented time, every aspect of our lives has been affected greatly by this pandemic as most countries implemented partial or even a nation-wide lockdown, travel restriction as well as adhering to social/physical distancing policy.

As of today, there are no specific vaccines or treatment for Coronavirus Diseases and the possible way of dealing with the Coronavirus is by preventing and slowing down its transmission. Aside from implementing the common social/physical distancing method, we ought to try to live and eat as healthy as possible so that our immunity is strong and can defeat the Coronavirus.

Black Pepper is widely acclaimed for its ability to boost the immune system. Being an international agency in the field of pepper, we think it is our moral responsibility to inform all about the great support pepper can give in your fight against the Coronavirus. There are many ways of improving our immune functions; one of the easiest and most natural ways is by incorporating herbs and spices in our dietary drinks and meals. The following recipe has been claimed to be a natural immune booster by the Indian Medicine and Homeopathy.

Hot Drink

Ingredients:
1. Peeled crushed ginger –
    5 grams
2. Basil leaves – 10 grams
3. Freshly crushed black
    pepper – ¼ Teaspoon
4. Crushed Athimadhuram /
    Liquorice / Mulethi – 5 grams
5. Turmeric powder – ¼
    Teaspoon
6. Drinking water – 250 ml

All of the above ingredients should be boiled until the raw smell disappears. Then strain it and drink it while it's hot.

Dose:
Adult – 50 ml twice a day
Children - 20 ml twice a day
