ISO/TC 34/SC 7 to hold 26th Meeting from 24-26 May 2010, in Mashad, Iran

(IPC, Jakarta) The Secretariat of the Technical Committee on Spices, Culinary Herbs and Condiments (ISO/TC 34/SC 7) has recently informed that they will be holding the 36th Meeting from 24-26 May 2010 at Pardisan Hotel, Mashad, Iran.

According to the TC 34/SC 7 Secretariat, the meeting, to be attended by members of Committee, will discuss and consider draft of international standards including ISO/DIS 3632-1 (Safron), new work items proposals on Guidelines for the presentation of standards containing specifications of spices and culinary herbs; Determination of Sudan I-IV dyes in Spices etc; Meeting will also look at future works of the Committee.

The TC 34/SC 7 - Spices, Culinary Herbs and Condiments is a technical committee of the International Organization for Standardization with the Secretariat is based in New Delhi. Members of this Committee includes AOAC, CAC, EC, ESA, IFEAT, IGPA, International Pepper Community, UNECE, WCO
